Shipping
Core Charges
Your old engine must be returned to us as a core and it must be a 350 cubic inch engine rebuildable and include heads. The core must be returned in our shipping crate. We charge a fee of $150.00 refundable upon return and inspection, freight prepaid. The fee for a Chevy big block core is $350.00

Crating Charges
There is a crating charge of $50.00 which includes all materials and labor to prepare your motor for shipment.

Shipping
Shipments are made from St. Louis, Missouri to your closest freight terminal or door delivery. Note: because of size of trucks on your street there is added cost for door delivery and you will be required to unload. Freight cost is determined by distance and weight.

Special Note on Shipping
We attend many events in the midwest and we can bring your motor to them so you can pick it up for only $80.00. Please call or email us to make arrangements and be sure to watch our Calendar of Events for events and dates.

Returns
We have strict quality checks and are proud to offer dependable and affordable motors. We do know they are purchased to go into performance vehicles and will be run hard. Most parts are warranteed by the manufacturer, usually for 90 days from date of purchase unless specified otherwise. All warranty information is included with your order. This does not cover any cosmetic (Chrome/Aluminum scratches or blemishes/dents, etc.) We inspect thoroughly at time of shipment and if there is damage during shipment you have 5 days to contact us and we will handle the freight claim. After 5 days we will assume cosmetic problems occurred during installation. We will not cover replacement for cracked block or damage from spun bearings or rounded cams because we inspect and run motors and know it's good before shipping. It is your responsibility to install quality oil in all motors, and if done, we are confident our motors will perform and last for many, many years. Defective parts must be returned prepaid and have a return authorization. Please call or email us, we will be glad to help you.

Custom Motors liability for losses or damages, arising out of any cause whatsoever, is limited to full refund of purchase price, or at our option, repair or replacement of the part(s). Custom Motors shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages.

Payment
We require an initial 40% down and the balance at time of shipment. We accept Mastercard, Visa, cashier's check, and money order for the down payment. We prefer that the final balance be paid with a cashier's check, money order or wire transfer.

California Residents
Because these are performance engines they are restricted to off road use only, and the same is true of our performance parts.

Illinois Residents
All Illinois residents are required to pay sales tax as required by law.
